All the red and sprinkles are totally necessary, you know, because Valentine’s Day is Saturday, and all 🙂

This red velvet recipe is sweet, but it’s also totally healthy AND completely vegan!

Raspberries go super well with both vanilla and chocolate, and since red velvet is a combination of the two, they’re kinda perfect. Plus, they’re red, so they match!

These vegan shakes get their creaminess from coconut milk yogurt and almond milk, and their chocolaty-ness from cocoa powder and vegan chocolate protein powder.

I used Sunwarrior’s Warrior Blend chocolate protein powder in these shakes. I love that it’s a raw vegan, gluten-free protein, and it actually tastes a lot better than many of the whey-based proteins I’ve tried (and it’s not chalky—yay!). You could also use a vanilla protein powder in this, and then just up the cocoa powder a little bit.

Mikey and I got them from a restaurant in downtown Seattle. We were served out desserts in them, then we got to take them home! I’m kinda, sorta, extremely obsessed.

Oh, and you know I had to top these shakes with sprinkles. I mean, they’re adorable little hearts, and they look so pretty on top of these red shakes!
