Super Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies
Your eyes do not deceive you.
Yes, I just stuffed an entire Oreo and and entire Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup inside a chocolate chip cookie.
Oh, and it’s not just any chocolate chip cookie. It’s The Best chocolate chip cookie on earth—the New York Times chocolate chip cookie.
Wait, can we real quick talk about how 5 years ago when I posted those cookies, David Leite himself (the freakin’ creator of said cookies), commented on my nobody blog about how “fantastic” and “gorgeous” mine were?! Don’t even try to tell me it was someone pretending to be him, because I’m pretty sure my entire world will shatter.
Also, what the heck…at the beginning of this month, my blog turned five. I’m terrible at celebrating my blog birthdays, but oh my god, I have been blogging for FIVE FREAKING YEARS! It certainly does not feel that long! To be fair though, the first few years I was very bad about posting, probably because I was also going to school full-time, AND had a full-time job (for some of it).
Not to trail off and get too emotional, but I can’t even begin to describe what this blog and all of you mean to me. I love you guys to the moon and back, and I’m so so happy to have found my passion in life, and to be able to share it!
Okay, but these cookies, though. I totally blew a lot of people’s minds with them when I served them. They are outrageous, and over-the-top, and you will get so many bewildered compliments if you make these and share ’em!
I actually made this recipe for my friends over at Food Fanatic, so you should definitely stop on by and read my post there, where I share some process photos, talk all about the inspiration behind them, and other typical Rachael rambly stuff.
5 years!! Wowzers you are quite the blogger, girl! And David LEITE commented on your blog?! Hooooold the phone, that’s crazy!! Lastly, I want/need these cookies in my life this weekend—I’m seriously freaking out over how amazing that oreo looks inside. Get in mah belly!
Thank youuuuu!! Yeah I know, I can't believe I've been blogging that long, either, hahaha
What started as a every now and again hobby, is now a 24/7 365 monster š
It’s the perfect cookie for a candy filled Halloween! Looks amazing
They would totally be perfect for any candy leftovers! Stuff anything an everything in there, haha!
You are NOT messing around, and I love it! Happy five years, lady! Here’s to five more *clinks cookies together like a champagne flute*
PS. That comment from David Leite?! You won the internet!
Thank you!!! Also, clinking cookies together should be the go-to for all celebrations IN ADDITION to champagne. Because both are equally important LOL
These look RIDICULOUSLY amazing – yum! Love the super-stuffed-ness!
Thanks, Alessandra! They're definitely a mouthful, that's for sure!
Oh my word, these cookies are practically indecent!!! I mean stuffing them with both an oreo AND peanut butter cup?! I love you for making this š
Hahah, oh gosh, I know, right?!
Thanks, Liz š
These look unreal. I look forward to firing up the stove and making these for X-mas with my little one
Thanks, Larry! They are pretty insane, haha! These would be so awesome for Christmas! You could even use the holiday Oreos with the colored centers!
Oh my GOD these stuffed cookies are incredible, loving the oreo and peanut butter centre especially. Wish I had one to devour right now.. pinned!
Haha, thank you, Thalia! Just be sure you have a glass of milk handy š !
Totally amazing recipe!
Made the dough, put in refrigerator for 36 hours, took out to start process and dough is hard as concrete. It cannot be scooped let alone patted into a disc. Have dough setting out on counter to “soften” into a workable state. Is it supposed to be this way? If so, this should be mentioned the recipe.
Hi Jim,
You should still be able to scoop the dough and work with it in your hands, though it will be a bit stiff. Your fridge might run a little cooler than mine, so that could explain why your dough is so hard š
Hi Rachael, thank you for the reply! The cookies were FABULOUS – if there was a word better that I can think of right now I would use it. No, the dough was not workable till about 45 min to 1 hour sitting out to be used. But, when it was, it was so easy to work with and the end result was exactly what you have pictured. Thank You!
I’m so glad to hear that! Sorry about the ultra cold dough, but I’m really happy to hear everything worked out!

Hello,
Are these supposed to be regular sized Reese’s or mini sized?
Thank you!
Regular š They are HUGE cookies, hahah
I’m always trying to make “impressive” and amazing baked goods for my hubby’s work…these fit the bill:) thank you!
Oh yay! I hope they love them! Everyone I shared them with was definitely impressed! …and maybe a little intimidated by their size haha!
Can i use semisweet chocolate chunks instead of regular chocolate chips or would the recipe work best with the smaller regular chocolate chips.
You can definitely use those! Might be harder to form, but will work!
