Weekly Wants
This end of the week post features links to recipes and posts around the web that I’m totally lusting after.
These Salted and Malted Nutella Caramel Cookies.
Caramel-filled cookies are kind of my new favorite thing after making these Snickerdoodles, so I’m all over these babies like white on rice. Plus, they have malt powder; can’t believe I’ve never used that in a cookie!
This Winter Punch.
I really want to take this base recipe and adapt it with grapefruit, and a tarragon simple syrup—yum!
These Smoked Trout Blinis with Crème Fraîche and Dill.
I’ve been seriously craving the smoked trout dish from The Walrus and the Carpenter, and this app looks like it may be able to satiate my hankering.
This Stout Gingerbread Flip.
Chocolate stout in a cocktail with rum and holiday flavors?! Sign. Me. Up.
These Pistachio, Orange, and Honey Florentines.
They just looks so caramel-y! I love the look of the green pistachios, and the flavors all sound like they would work beautifully together.
These Lamb Party Cigars.
Love lamb. Love fried apps. Love cinnamon-y spiced meats. Love this recipe.
These Hot Chocolate Floats.
What a simple, yet brilliant idea. Why didn’t I think of that?!
This Coconut Snowball Martini.
Umm, so this week my wants are a bit adult beverage heavy…’tis the season? But this one looks so pretty! I adore the idea of plopping a little “snowball” of coconut sorbet into the drink.
This Dolsot Bibimbap.
I’m sort of obsessed with bibimbap. I love the way the rice crisps up when it comes into contact with the searingly hot bowl. I love the oozy egg yolk. I love it all! This one looks especially beautiful!
