Weekly Wants
This end of the week post features links to recipes and posts around the web that I’m totally lusting after.
These Moonshine Sweet Tea Cupcakes.
As if the title alone isn’t enough to sell them…
These Chewy Gingerbread Chocolate Chip Bars.
I’m a big fan of brownies, bars, and the like, especially if they are chewy and fudgy. I have a serious urge to make these and skip the chocolate chips and instead smother them in a white chocolate sauce.
This Pumpkin Ricotta Gnocchi with Pancetta and Seared Radicchio.
I loooove gnocchi; it’s so soft and pillowy. Also, pumpkin and bacon? Need.
This Honey-Goat Cheese Ice Cream with Poached Pear Swirl.
I have had all of these things together before, but never as ice cream. Plus, I’ve been hankering (um, do real people say that?) to try my hand at some goat cheese ice cream for ages now.
This Ramen Soup with Char Siu Pork.
Ramen is just the ultimate comfort food (okay, and pho). Plus, if you make this, you get leftover char siu pork for steamed buns, mmm!
These Caramel Snickerdoodle Bars.
These seem like the logical next step after my Brown Butter Caramel Snickerdoodles! And just look at those layers!
This Lemony Rainbow Checkerboard Cake.
How is everything that Heather makes so dang perfect and unbelievably gorgeous?!
This Immunity Soup.
Weird name, but sounds like exactly what my body could use a dose of, right now! This stupid cold just won’t leave, but perhaps this gingery veggie soup could cure me!
This White Chocolate Lavender Ice Cream.
Studies have shown that people tend to eat ice cream more when it’s colder out. No idea why, but that seems to hold true considering this is the second ice cream on my list and it’s 40 degrees out. Also, I love lavender.
These Chinese Scallion Pancakes.
It’s the flakey layers that are pulling me in!
I saw those Moonshine sweet tea cupcakes and felt the same way.
I have been following this blog, http://call-me-cupcake.blogspot.com/ and have been infatuated with most of her photography and recipes.
